What is your role at The Benefit Doctor?

I feel that my role at The Benefit Doctor is to provide as much value to as many employees as I possibly can by focusing on educating the them in a way that takes the confusion and frustration out of the whole experience and they come away understanding their benefits maybe for the first time.

What do you love most about supporting our clients?

What I enjoy most about supporting our clients is providing unmatched value through our unique employee education and enrollment process. Fostering a deeper understanding of each employees’ needs so their experience working for their employer (my client) is more enduring.

What is a common challenge you help solve?

My approach removes the mystery and confusion out of employee benefits making them easier to use when needed.

What’s one thing clients / HR teams don’t realize about what you do?

Many clients and HR managers don’t realize we personally interact with each employee and explain all of their benefits including those that we did not initially introduce and handle employee phone calls post enrollment freeing up the HR Manager’s time for other tasks.

What makes BenDoc's approach different from other brokers in your opinion?

My approach focuses on partnering with employers, especially family-owned businesses; and providing employee benefits that are valuable, easy-to-use and budget friendly. Also, I educate the employees in a way that is engaging and fun ensuring that they understand and appreciate their benefits.

Fun fact about you outside of work?

Fun fact about me outside of work would be my love for finding deals at my favorite consignment stores as well as my favorite pastime of watching on Livestream, my talented nieces perform in the various dance competitions.

Advice for anyone trying to create change and make an impact?

For anyone wanting to create change and make and impact I would say, just find something that lights you up on the inside and then figure out how to share that light with others and take imperfect action to make an impact.
