What is your role at The Benefit Doctor?

Broker

What do you love most about supporting our clients?

I believe in what I do, so I love the ability to help my clients not only understand their benefits, but value their benefits and help them choose plans that work for them and their families. They also have a direct line of communication with me and the back office, so if they have any questions or need help with claims, we are all there for them to support them year round!

What is a common challenge you help solve?

The fact that benefits do not have to be complicated! I get to educate my clients in a fun and interactive way, so they truly understand the value and the need in having great benefits, that are tailored for them and their families.

What’s one thing clients / HR teams don’t realize about what you do?

I can do it all for them… educate, help with claims, answer questions, give them their time back, make the whole experience fun and less stressful for everyone involved.

What makes BenDoc's approach different from other brokers in your opinion?

We have this crazy idea that benefits should be built with your employees’ paycheck protected first and foremost. We all go to work everyday for a paycheck, so why not insure the one thing that gives us the ability to pay for everything? We conduct a one-of-a-kind education experience for your staff!

Fun fact about you outside of work?

I’m at cat-mom first and foremost! I also love the beach, paddle boarding, painting, crafting, and flipping garbage items and fixing them up.

Advice for anyone trying to create change and make an impact?

Just do it! Don’t wait for the “perfect” time… there’s no better time than the present. Make mistakes, but learn and grow from them!
