What is your role at The Benefit Doctor?
As a broker with The Benefit Doctor, I specialize in helping businesses find the best group health insurance solutions. My goal is to simplify the process, ensuring companies get competitive rates and comprehensive coverage that meets their employees’ needs. I work closely with clients to tailor plans, navigate industry changes, and provide ongoing support—because benefits should be an asset, not a headache.
What do you love most about supporting our clients?
What I love most about supporting our clients is knowing that I’m making a real impact—helping businesses provide quality benefits that attract and retain great employees. Health insurance can be overwhelming, but I enjoy simplifying the process, finding the best solutions, and giving employers the confidence that they’re taking care of their teams. Seeing the relief and appreciation from clients when we secure the right coverage is what makes this work so rewarding!
What is a common challenge you help solve?
One of the biggest challenges I help solve is finding the right balance between cost and coverage. Many businesses struggle to offer competitive benefits while managing their budget, and I step in to simplify the process. I work closely with employers to identify cost-effective group health plans that provide real value to their employees. Whether it’s navigating complex insurance options, explaining policy details in plain English, or negotiating better rates, I make sure my clients get the best fit for their needs.
What’s one thing clients / HR teams don’t realize about what you do?
Many clients and HR teams don’t realize that I do so much more than just find insurance plans—I act as a true partner in their benefits strategy. Beyond securing competitive rates, I help navigate compliance issues, educate employees on their options, and provide ongoing support throughout the year. I take the burden off HR by handling renewals, problem-solving claims issues, and ensuring their benefits package stays competitive. My job doesn’t stop once the plan is in place—I’m here to make their lives easier every step of the way!

Fun fact about you outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m all about the outdoors, music, and sports! Whether it’s hiking, exploring nature, or cheering on my favorite teams, I love staying active. I’m also a huge music fan—it’s always playing in the background of my day. But my favorite role? Being a mom. My kids keep me on my toes and make life even more rewarding!
Advice for anyone trying to create change and make an impact?
Creating change and making an impact starts with persistence and a clear purpose. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but when you stay committed to your goals and lead with integrity, people take notice. Listen, learn, and always be willing to adapt—growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone. Most importantly, focus on relationships. Whether in business or life, real impact happens when you connect with people, understand their needs, and find solutions that truly make a difference.
