I began my journey in the insurance industry in 2020. From the beginning, I was drawn to the challenge of making benefits easier to understand and more valuable for the people they’re meant to serve.

What is your role at The Benefit Doctor?

At The Benefit Doctor, I help businesses get the most out of their benefits budget while ensuring their employees actually understand what’s being offered. I focus on simplifying complex plans and delivering employee education that’s engaging and practical.

What do you love most about supporting our clients?

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is when an employer tells me their team members personally thanked them for the benefits I helped put in place. That’s when I know we’ve made a real impact.

What is a common challenge you help solve?

Benefits can be incredibly confusing—and that confusion often leads to frustration or underuse. I love stepping in and bringing clarity so that everyone—from the owner to the newest hire—feels confident about the benefits available to them.

What’s one thing clients / HR teams don’t realize about what you do?

Most people don’t realize that I’m not just helping a company “check the box” for compliance. I’m strategically designing plans that can boost morale, improve retention, and truly support employees’ lives. The ripple effects are huge.

Fun fact about you outside of work?

Outside of work, I love riding horses, swimming, and spending time with my family. Nature and family time keep me grounded and energized.

Advice for anyone trying to create change and make an impact?

If you want to make a difference, speak from the heart, stay true to yourself, and don’t underestimate the power of small, consistent actions. That’s how real change happens—one intentional step at a time.
